Future Vision 2020

Like much of this year, Future Vision 2020 is going virtual. While we will miss seeing you in person, we are developing some amazing learning opportunities and are thrilled to reach a broader audience. We hope you will join us from November 9th through the 13th to hear from leaders in design justice, connect with colleagues, and walk away inspired to transform your processes and practices. Individual sessions will be approximately 2 hours long and take place daily between the hours of 10am and 2pm (excluding Veterans Day, Wednesday November 11). Some days will also include an informal afternoon discussion hour from 4pm to 5pm (drinks optional) to foster further conversations with our speakers and session attendees.

NCARB Updates

Rolling Clock Extension

Go here to learn more about a recent announcement about the time frame for the “rolling clock extension” related to the ARE.

ARE Testing Opportunities

Prometric, the company that contracts with NCARB to administer the ARE through their testing centers, closed all of their centers early in the Pandemic. Many were reopened in late spring, but not all. This information from Prometric identifies the centers that are closed. You can find a link to the site on the AIA Oregon COVID 19 resource page. The center in Medford remains closed, but information indicates that the other sites in Oregon (Bend, Eugene, LaGrande, and two in Portland) are open. Please contact AIA Oregon at info@aiaoregon.org if you are aware of different information about the test centers.
