William / Kaven Architecture is a multidisciplinary design studio working in architecture and interiors. The studio was officially formed by brothers Daniel Kaven and Trevor William Lewis in 2004, continuing a lifetime of collaboration that began as children in their home state of New Mexico. The brothers, who are vocal proponents for urbanism and the innovation of ecologically sensitive architecture, have collectively amassed a significant portfolio in their design careers that includes award-winning residences, mixed-use buildings and environments for corporate clients. William / Kaven’s work has been widely published in outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Architect’s Newspaper, Wallpaper Magazine, and Dwell. Recently, the team was awarded an Architecture MasterPrize for their Royal Residence in Forest Park and an AIA Oregon Citation Award for Silica, a heavy-timber and glass office building with retail.
