AIA Calls on the House of Representatives to Pass the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act of 2024 (HR 7024)

AIA calls on the House of Representatives to work in a bipartisan manner to expeditiously bring the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act of 2024 (HR 7024) to the House floor for a full vote and passage as soon as possible. 

Paula Loomis, FAIA, honored with the AIA Award for Excellence in Public Architecture 2024

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) is honoring Paula Loomis, FAIA, a dedicated public servant and former U.S. Air Force Officer, with the AIA Award for Excellence in Public Architecture 2024.  

Kimberly Dowdell, AIA, NOMAC, inaugurated as AIA's 100th president!

Dowdell was inaugurated on Friday evening in Washington, D.C., and is the first Black woman to fill the position in AIA's 166-year history.
