Samir Mokashi, Principal at Code Unlimited, will be teaching a 2-hour code seminar, “2019 OSSC Updates". The course will focus on understanding the changes between current Oregon codes and the 2019 OSSC adoptions, including 2018 IBC codes. Regulations on the issues common to most building types and those that may be commonly misunderstood or misapplied will be covered. This course will explain what changed, why it changed, and how to apply these updates correctly in your projects.

Learning objectives:

  1. Review which codes changed and why.

  2. Learn about 2019 OSSC Adoptions.

  3. Learn about transitioning from 2012 to 2019 based Oregon Codes.

  4. View graphically explained samples of changes such as occupancy, fire life safety, and egress.

Samir Mokashi has over 30 years of experience in regulatory requirements.
