1 AIA LU|HSW Available
Join Energy Trust and AIA Oregon for a panel discussion and an opportunity to see a “Mock Charette” that exemplifies years of best practices from design team experts in their chosen field. These experts have had the opportunity to engage with Energy Trust early in the planning process in order to maximize incentives and participate in impactful early design discussions. Panelists will represent professional roles equating to the recommended team members at an early design meeting, including the project owner, architect, engineer(s), Energy Trust representative, solar trade ally, energy modeler, and Commissioning (Cx) Agent for add-ons.
The panel will be an informal, facilitated discussion (without a PowerPoint deck) and attendees will have any opportunity to ask practical questions about best practices within the design community to better equip project teams with the information they need to make cost informed design decisions for a more energy efficient, occupant centered, and above code building. Enjoy viewing a productive representation of a “mock charette” with plenty of time set aside for Q&A on recommendations, insights from past experiences, and keys to successful early design meetings.
