Home automation goes to the next level – where high design meets high performance in residential construction. This course will explore recent trends in smart home technology for residential construction with a specific focus on windows and doors. We will look at the wide range of options available to architects designing a smart home, and how these choices can impact the health, safety, well-being and piece-of-mind of occupants. Lastly, we will discuss how architects can incorporate home automation into their design process and how collaboration with smart home integrators can be beneficial to entire project team.
