Join the AIA Eugene Emerging Professionals for a private screening of Megalopolis at Metro Cinemas in downtown Eugene. Admission is free for AIA members, and includes free popcorn (or its equivalent) at the concession stand. Space is extremely limited, so you must register with Kathy to attend.

Megalopolis is an architectural themed film that some critics have likened to The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand, featuring an architect as a central figure who is uncompromising in their vision and who faces significant opposition from established powers. Local member Randy Nishimura has posted his thoughts on the movie in his blog, SW Oregon Architect Emeritus, for a more in-depth review of the film.

There will be time for a discussion of the movie after the showing.
