2024 UO Reynolds Symposium Day 1

  • Gerlinger Lounge 1526-1598 University Street Eugene, OR 97403 (map)

The 2024 UO Reynolds Symposium will explore concepts, strategies, systems and real-world examples of design for resiliency across many scales and scopes of the built environment, from the local neighborhood resource hub as a cache and gathering place that supports the deep social fabric of community, to the buildings and urban environments of all scales that keep critical infrastructures and operations vital and available.  Furthermore, the Symposium will delve into questions about the relationship between design for “resiliency” and for “sustainability.” Are they at odds or are they really, at the root, the same set of goals?
