As you may know, AIA Oregon chose not to renew the lease on the Center for Architecture in Portland at the beginning of this year, and Summit Bank has chosen not to renew the lease on the Octagon after March 2023.
So now AIA Oregon is kicking off the search for AIA Oregon’s new HQ. And we want to co-create it with you. A new HQ does not, in this case, necessarily mean one central location. We are a widespread chapter and need time to figure out how to best serve all our members, so we have called together a new task force with diverse members from all over the state. They had their first meeting on October 7th, and now they want to meet with all of you.
Join AIA Eugene at the Octagon on November 16, where Heather Wilson, AIAO EVP; Kaley Fought, AIAO President; and Bill Seider, a member of the New HQ Task Force, can bring you up to date on where we are currently and answer any questions you might have.
All attendees will be entered in a drawing for vintage AIA-SWO swag, so don’t miss out!
