Stucco and Exterior Insulation Finish Systems (EFIS) have been widely and successfully used for many years on residential and commercial building projects. In response to changes in building code requirements, manufacturers have developed new stucco and EFIS systems. These enhanced systems are designed to provide buildings state-of-the-art protection from the elements and long-term performance.
This seminar will educate participants on:
Thermal, air, moisture and vapor control layers, materials and installation requirements under the IBC and ASTM.
How the new systems are designed to protect the building enclosure from unwanted moisture accumulation, material degradation and reduce the potential for mold growth.
