In December of 2019, the Oregon State Board of Architect Examiners (OSBAE) established a Law Review Committee to evaluate the laws pertaining to architects and the provision of architectural services as outlined in Chapter 671 of the Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS). Over nine public meetings, the committee extensively reviewed and discussed the statutes and developed a revised version for the Board’s assessment. See the proposed changes HERE.
At the June 3 Thursday Roundtable, Curt Wilson, AIA, Eric Sandoval, AIA and Mark Jacobsen will review the recommended changes to current statutes and discuss their impacts on the practice of architecture, projects, clients, and as well as the impact on the Oregon public..
