AIA & AIAS UO warmly invite you to the 2021 annual Professional Pin-Up. A yearly tradition where AIA firms showcase their current or recent projects to UO students. Pin-up style consists of working drawings and imagery, allowing students to get an ‘inside look’ into the professional workings and resolutions to architectural issues. After the presentation, attending students will vote for their favorite presentations according to AIAS Design Categories, and winning firms will receive 2021 AIAS Awards.
Call for Presenters
We would like to invite AIA Oregon members to present at 2021’s Professional Pin-Up on January 20. A project “in process” is preferred. In the past, the format of the presentation has been similar to an academic studio review. Multiple firms present concurrently, with rotating reviewers comprised of students, faculty, and local professionals. This year, presenters will each have their own breakout room in the Zoom event, while reviewers will choose which presentation they will attend.
Give future architects the opportunity to witness ‘real life’ project design processes from Oregon architectural, planning, construction, and engineering professionals. Showcase your projects during any phase of design and/or construction. Invite multiple professions involved with the project to present and discuss how collaboration affects design.
