Working from home has changed the way we communicate in the office, presenting challenges and opportunities for interaction. But what is its specific impact on Emerging Professionals? Bora Architects will host an interactive panel discussion to share the experiences of its younger staff members in the virtual office environment. Join us for a conversation as we explore obstacles faced, as well as solutions implemented, to address this new paradigm.
Emerging professionals inherently thrive on interactions with more experienced people in the office. But with the home office a total 180 from the open office environment we’ve grown accustomed to, we can no longer see when someone is available, stop by for a quick chat, or gain inspiration from seeing what someone else is working on. Impromptu interactions have been vastly reduced. In our WFH reality how can emerging professionals maintain the strong connections with people of all experience levels that are so crucial to the success of our work?
We hope this will be the first of more events exploring this issue from a variety of firms’ perspectives. This panel discussion with Bora will engage an important dialogue with the larger architectural community. The conversation will make use of breakout rooms, allowing audience feedback and participation to inform the panel discussion.
