Project: Beaverton Christian Church
When the leadership team from a like-minded church adopted Beaverton Christian Church, their mission was to bolster attendance through outreach and updates. A refresh of the existing facilities was of key importance and interior design played a critical role in creating a space from which the church could inspire people in an atmosphere that emphasizes community through meaningful interactions and togetherness. The resulting remodeled space now plays host to a multitude of church related and outside community events.
The expansive yet dark “big box” lobby of the Beaverton Christian Church was transformed into a thriving community space by organizing and inserting usable nodes within the box, detailed with materials, casework and fixtures in soft muted tones. The Beaverton Christian Church project received an International Interior Design Association 2018 Design Excellence Award.
