What folks are saying:
“I can’t wait for the Future Vision 2021 symposium hosted by AIAO Committee on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion starting Nov 8! It was through my participation in CoEDI that I became actively involved with AIAO and have since grown so much in my professional career with the support from wonderful members in this committee. I look forward to gathering again with other design professionals that are putting in the work to understand the complexity of social equity and justice in our profession. I always leave CoEDI’s seminars refreshed and recharged to further the work that we do. It’s knowing that we are all in this together that gives me hope, and together we must enact impactful change. I strongly encourage you to join this year’s seminar to be part of the conversation and movement in advancing justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in our chosen profession.” Stephanie Morales, Assoc. AIA
"I have been part of the planning team for Future Vision since its inception in 2017 and to this day am perennially excited to attend & be part of this annual event. Since launching, this event has offered a full day devoted to gathering with industry professionals to discuss topics related to equity, diversity and inclusion. More recently the mission of this event has broadened to serve as a platform to explore the intersectionality of the broader profession and partner with aligned organizations.
To me the appeal of Future Vision, either in person or remotely, is knowing that I will always come away with new knowledge, reinvigorated purpose and actionable takeaways. A common thread that unites every Future Vision Conference is receiving the knowledge and resources to advocate for a more equitable profession at multiple scales: at the personal level, within your firm and globally."
