Small Firms Exchange (SFx) Meeting

Topic: Do you ORPIN? a small firm, the public process, and finding a strategy.

Embracing our AIA Oregon quarterly topic ‘Policy & Advocacy,’ this meeting will introduce resources for finding public projects from the perspective of three small firms. This will include an introduction to the terms ORPIN, RFP, RFQ, ESB and QBS and a brief discussion how they relate to the public selection process. We will share our own experiences in the pursuit of public projects and (perhaps) how it has improved our practice. Our intent is to discuss the process, some issues, and hopefully take away what other strategies small firms can take for public projects within the State of Oregon.
