Calling all AIA Oregon Bend Section Architects! We are beginning a community Design Charette to address some of the Pedestrian and Biking needs in the Bend Central District “Designing a Pedestrian Link Across the Railway and Bend Parkway” - to connect the Bend Central District with Downtown Bend, and by extension to connect East Bend with West Bend. 

Additionally we will be looking at existing underpass crossings, new crossings at 3rd Street, Franklin Ave. and Greenwood Ave. Design Concepts will attempt to create a welcoming and way-making theme for the district through Material Palette and Structure, Landscape and Art Installations.
